A Contemplative Science Summit sponsored by the Tianqiao and Crissy Chen Institute and the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain.
How can contemplative sciences get out of the lab and into the world—to both present a more complete picture of the consequences of contemplative practice, and to engage with society in meaningful, impactful ways? This daylong summit will bring together leading researchers and scholars in contemplative science and related fields to explore these questions, and to offer a vision for the future.
This is a hybrid meeting with the option to participate in person or online via zoom.
Dr. Majied will present Restoring the Elan Vital of Research: Principles and Practices of Inclusive, Anti-Racist Science in the symposium on social identity and context.
